Our first day back to school September 2015

Our New Extension

St. Saviour’s pupils go back to a new school!!

Tuesday 1st of September was the first day back to school from the holidays. It was no ordinary start to a new school year in St. Saviour’s, it was the day we could all see our newly extended building, which we have been waiting for years for.  All the pupils were waiting outside eager to get in to see the new extension.
For the past year, 4th, 5th and 6th classes had been working in a very small squishy prefab. They could hear all the diggers and drills outside which was very distracting. The children also had a restricted playground for ages. They had to move classrooms a lot as the builders had to work in lots of different places, when some of the building was finished 1st 2nd and 3rd were very patient as they had to stay in the old building. The teachers and pupils are for waiting for the sports hall to be floored, but this soon will be done.
However, all the waiting has paid off when their three classrooms each with their own toilets were finished and looking so lovely.                                            By Jazmine
