The Annual
Carol Service 2012
Our annual Carol Service
was held in St. Saviour’s Church on Sunday 16th December. The
children sang beautifully and it was a very moving service. The whole school
sang “Come and Join the Celebrations”. The Infants sang “The Rock your Carol”.
Second to sixth classes played several tunes on their recorders. The “piece de
resistance” however was the singing of “Dona Nobis” and “The Angels Song”. This
was a historic occasion as it was the first time The Angels Song was sung in a
Church in Ireland. The seniors performed a modern version of the Nativity and
at the end the whole school was gathered to sing the final carols.
