St. Saviour's Carol Service. 

On Sunday 15th December our school community assembled in St. Saviour's Church for our annual Carol Service. The service began with a recorder recital. This year the infants enacted the Nativity which was narrated by 6th class pupils Hazel, Kendra, Laura and John. The readers were Abhainn, Amy, Harry Camille and Zoe. The poem "The First Christmas Night" was recited by pupils from 2nd and 3rd classes. Prayers were composed and read by pupils from the senior classroom. The pupils sang beautifully. There Thank You Song was particularly moving.

Christmas Party

Our Christmas party was held on Thursday 19th, There was a magical Santa's Grotto in the school grounds. We also had a disco lots of yummy international food provided by the parents. A fun evening was had by all. 

Music Generation

On Tuesday 17th December Mrs. Lawson and two 6th class students went to The Glenview Hotel to receive a cheque awarded to St. Saviour's N.S from Music Generation. 

The cheque for €3,000 will be used to purchase instruments, clarinets, flutes, saxaphones etc. which will be played by the pupils under the direction of James Dunne our Music Teacher. A small children's orchestra will be formed and we look forward to their first public performance in the New Year.
